Jerry Ferrone - Bio

Played soccer at The Rock under legendary head coach Jim Egli from 1965-68.
 
51 years following his final collegiate game, Ferrone still ranks seventh at Slippery Rock in career goals scored (39) and eighth in total points (89).
 
Ferrone's best season at The Rock came in 1966 when he recorded 37 points on 15 goals and seven assists. His 15 goals still rank eighth on SRU's single-season scoring ledger.
 
Ferrone helped lead Slippery Rock to four consecutive winning seasons and an overall record of 34-15-5 (.676).
 
A 1968 graduate of Slippery Rock, Ferrone was also inducted into the Fox Chapel Area Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
