Raymond Aubel Sr.

The late Raymond Aubel Sr. played soccer at The Rock under legendary coach Jim Egli, from 1958 to 1962.
 
As a member of the men's soccer program, Aubel helped lead SRU to 25 wins before graduating in 1965. He also ranks fourth all-time in SRU men's soccer history in shots attempted. Aubel recorded 27 total points on nine goals and nine assists. During the 1959 season he was an All-American honoree.  
 
Following graduation, Aubel entered a career in education at the Greensburg Central Catholic High School in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and the South Fayette Junior and Senior High School in McDonald, Pennsylvania.
 
Aubel, and his wife, the late JoAnne Aubel, have four children: Raymond Jr., David, Daniel and Mary. Raymond Jr. also played under Egli.
