Melisa (Sharek) O'Toole
played four years under head coach Noreen Herlihy from 2006-09.
 
She helped Slippery Rock to a 53-24-6 record during that stretch starting in all 65 games she appeared in. O'Toole registered five points on one goal and three assists over her career and was a member of a team that reached the NCAA Tournament three out of her four seasons. She was also a PSAC freshman of the year candidate in 2006 and was a second team All-PSAC honoree in 2009.
 
After earning her bachelor's degree in 2010, she later earned her master's degree in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014.
 
From there, O'Toole became a Personal Training Manager at Anytime Fitness and the head varsity girl's soccer coach at Kiski Area High School.  She also owns RM Performance Training, which is an organization that trains middle school, high school and college athletes.
 
Her husband, Ryan O'Toole, reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with their son, Jordan, who is eight months old.
