Gary Sphar

Gary Sphar of Morgantown, West Virginia graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1972 and then went on to further his education as Slippery Rock University in 1976 and again at Point Park College in 1987. 

Sphar played soccer for three years and was the Assistant Coach for one year. 

While he was an athlete, he was named the NAIA National All American, 3-Time Area All American, 3-Time State College Selection, and Team Captain in 1975.

Continuing his athletic merits, Sphar was a New York City marathon competitor in 2007. 

He was also the Vice President of Finance North America Mylan Inc. where he spent 20 years with the company and then went on to be a Senior Officer for 10 years.

Sphar shares his accomplishments with his wife, Jan Sphar, a Slippery Rock graduate of 1978; his son Clayton Sphar, an Appalachian State University graduate of 2007; his daughter, Emily Sphar, a Slippery Rock University student, and his daughter Kylie Sphar, a West Virginia University student.
