Hello all,
Rock lax had a very eventful week! We hosted four recruits this week, then on Saturday we traveled to Pittsburgh Cost Center to compete against the University of Pittsburgh and Marymount. This was the first opportunity we have had in a while to play full-field games and work on our transition.
Overall, our team worked very hard to pull through with two wins. We ran a lot of new and old plays to practice them for the season, and tried out a lot of different combinations of players to see who worked well together.
These scrimmages made everyone very pumped up about the coming season! We have practice, weight lifting and conditioning this week, before we look forward to team bonding on Saturday as we venture to the Lake Erie Monsters Hockey Game.
Also we will be having a lovely dinner cooked by Daisy Dishong, the nicest lady ever!
