FROSTBURG, Md. - The Slippery Rock University baseball team had its six-game winning streak come to an end in an 11-2 loss Tuesday at Frostburg State University.

The non-conference defeat moves The Rock's record to 24-12 while the Bobcats improve to 28-11.

Slippery Rock and Frostburg State traded two-run first innings with SRU's coming by way of a Koby Bubash bases-loaded, one-out single through the left side that brought in a pair of runs only for FSU to answer in the bottom of the frame with an RBI-triple by Randy Steen and a Danny Estrada hit that brought in Steen.

However, the Bobcats went on to break the game open by compiling one-run innings in both the second and third as well as a three-run frame in fourth followed by two-run showings in the fifth and seventh en route to the eventual nine-run victory.
