JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team's 2015-16 season came to an end Wednesday night in an 84-72 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division loss at the University of Pitt-Johnstown.

Slippery Rock's year concludes with an overall record of 13-15. Additionally, Slippery Rock's 13 wins are the most for the program since the 2005-06 season. Slippery Rock has won 24 games over the last two seasons; The Rock won just 25 games from 2009-13.

Lexi Carpenter capped off her outstanding season by scoring a season-high 32 points to go with five assists and three steals. Carpenter, who went 11-for-22 from the field and 9-for-9 from the foul line Wednesday, ended the year by scoring at least 22 points in each of her final four games. Carpenter's 473 points is the 10th highest total in a single-season in Rock history.
