FAYETTEVILLE, S.C. -- The 39th-ranked Slippery Rock University women's tennis team rolled to its second win in as many days and sixth in eight matches this season with a 9-0 whitewashing Friday of host Fayetteville State in NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional regular-season action.

The previous day, SRU beat host Shaw University by a 6-3 score.

In Friday's match, The Rock was never challenged as it won 6-0 decisions in 11 of 12 singles games and took the remaining game by a 6-1 score after taking all three doubles matches by 8-0 scores.
