INSTITUTE, W. Va. -- The 26th-ranked Slippery Rock University women's tennis team swept all six singles matches Saturday morning en route to an 8-1 win over hosting NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rival West Virginia State.
The Rock won two of the three doubles matches and then swept all six singles match to improve its season record to 11-2.
SRU returns to action Sunday, when it will travel to the University of Charleston (W. Va.).
