PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- A pair of Rock doubles teams placed third Saturday to highlight the Green and White's first-day effort in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.

The sister duo of Kayla Blackburn and Samantha Blackburn finished third in Flight #1 competition, while the tandem of Jessica Hilborn and Casey Runyan was third in Flight #2.

The Rock will send one player, Kelly Stenger, into a third-place match Sunday.

The Rock will have four singles players competing in fifth-place matches Sunday. Samantha Blackburn will be in the Flight #1 match, while Hilborn will be in the Flight #2 match. Runyan will play Rock teammate Chelsea Barton in the Flight #4 third-place match.
