SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Fifth-ranked California U. of Pa. blanked the 23rd-ranked Rock, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action to snap the Green and White's 11-match win streak.
The loss was only the second sustained by SRU in 18 matches this season and gives The Rock a 2-1 mark in PSAC-West action.
California improved its overall record to 20-2 and its PSAC-West mark to 4-0 with its 11th 9-0 win of the season and fourth against division rivals.
