Alexa Erossy recorded 41 kills, 22 digs and six service aces in three matches to lead The Rock to a pair of wins in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action at Millersville University.
The Rock opened the weekend with a 3-2 (23-30, 30-25, 30-24, 25-30, 15-9) loss to Kutztown on Friday before it snapped a five-match losing streak with an easy 3-0 (30-4, 30-5, 30-8) win over Cheyney later that day.
SRU then beat the host team, Millersville, 3-0 (31-29, 30-27, 30-15) on Saturday to improve its season record to 10-8.
Other highlights of the weekend included:
Jen Blasko: 36 kills and 26 digs
Louise Schultz: 76 assists, 18 kills, 18 digs and six service aces
Anastasia Urbanik: 27 digs and 21 kills
Courtney Fajerski: 11 digs and seven aces
Andrea Campbell: 13 digs and seven aces
The Rock returns to action Tuesday, when it travels to Indiana U. of Pa. for a 7 p.m. PSAC-Western Division match.
