Belcastro, Venet lead Rock effort at East Stroudsburg

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Jennifer Venet scored the only Rock goal and Lisa Belcastro recorded 20 saves to lead the Green and White's effort in a 3-1 loss Saturday at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival East Stroudsburg.

Venet's unassisted goal in the 42nd minute of action tied the score at 1-1 and was one of only three shots The Rock took in the game. East Stroudsburg, meanwhile, fired 27 shots at Belcastro.

The Rock (0-9 overall, 0-5 PSAC) will go in search of that elusive first win of the season Tuesday when it hosts Mansfield in a 4 p.m. PSAC game on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
