Indiana, Pa. - Serena Bond, Jennifer Harpp and Vera McDaniel each claimed a gold medal to headline The Rock's effort in the Western PA Championships meet hosted by Indiana U. of Pa.

Bond won the triple jump with a leap of 36-7.5, Harpp claimed the 3,000m run with a time of 10:24.50 and McDaniel sprinted to victory in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.68.

Susan Yuhas also had a commendable effort as she placed second in the javelin throw with a toss of 136-11 that met provisional qualifying standards for the NCAA Division II national meet.

As a team, The Rock placed fifth in the 12-team competition.
