Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - Tenth-ranked Shippensburg blanked The Rock, 3-0, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action, Saturday, at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The Rock had an opportunity to score first, as Lara Winter attempted a penalty shot at the 9:33 mark of the first period.

The Green and White were able to generate some offense against The Lady Raiders, as they took 11 shots on Saturday, an area that was lacking in their last two games.

Rock starting goalie Lisa Belcastro recorded 12 saves and allowed three goals on the afternoon.

The Rock (0-13 overall, 0-9 PSAC) resumes its search for that elusive first win at 11 a.m. Sunday, when it will host fourth-ranked Kutztown in PSAC action on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

Sunday's game will be the second of three home dates The Rock will have in the span of four days. SRU also hosts Millersville at noon Tuesday.
