Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - Defending NCAA Division II national runner-up Bloomsburg handed The Rock a 10-0 setback Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The Huskies (2-0, 1-0) outshot SRU by a 36-3 margin in the game, including a 25-2 advantage in shots on goal.

Rock goalies Tara Bailey and Ashley Winkelstecht combined to record 15 saves.

SRU (1-1 overall, 0-1 PSAC) will look to regain its winning ways when it hosts East Stroudsburg at 1 p.m. Saturday on DiSpirito Field at Thompson Stadium.
