Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - The 13th-ranked Rock and visiting Bloomsburg battled to a scoreless stalemate in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action Thursday afternoon on James W. Egli Soccer Field.

The Rock (7-1-1) outshot the Huskies (4-4-2) by a 20-13 margin, including a 10-7 edge in shots on goal, but could not put a shot in the back of the net.

Sophomore goalie Jen McCormick recorded seven saves in her first start of the season after undergoing offseason knee surgery.

The Rock will host Lock Haven at 2 p.m. on Sunday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division contest.

The Rock, in addition to being ranked 13th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II national poll, is ranked second in the NSCAA Northeast Regional poll.

In PSAC-West competition, SRU sits atop the standings with a 5-0 record.
