Final Stats

Clarion, Pa. - Danielle Cooper and Mallory Neubert each scored a pair of goals Wednesday night to lift The Rock to a 4-0 win over hosting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Clarion.

Cooper also had an assist on Neubert's first goal.

Rock goalies Lauren McManus (60 minutes) and Becky Morgan (30 minutes) combined efforts to record the shutout.

The win improved The Rock's record to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in PSAC-West action at the midway mark of the conference schedule.

SRU will put its unbeaten mark on the line Sunday at West Chester.

West Chester and SRU are ranked 1-2 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II Northeast Region poll and are No. 6 and No. 14, respectively, in the NSCAA national poll.

Neubert scored the game's first goal in the 40th minute of action, shortly after she had entered the game as a substitute.

Cooper added The Rock's second and fourth goals on assists from Melisa Sharek and Martina Hall, respectively, to improve her season total to a team-best seven before Neubert scored an unassisted tally, her second goal of the game and fourth of the season.
