Shippensburg, Pa. - The Rock won the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches Friday but could not carry the momentum through singles play and dropped a 5-2 decision to Bloomsburg in semifinal action of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Team Championships at Shippensburg University.

The Rock's nationally ranked No. 1 doubles team of Kayla Blackburn and Ashley Michaux won an 8-4 decision, while the No. 2 team of Lara Rizzi and Sarah Karagianis prevailed by an 8-5 score.

Friday's loss dropped The Rock's season record to 14-7 and puts the Green and White in Saturday's 1 p.m. consolation match against Kutztown, a 5-4 loser to California U. of Pa. in the other semifinal match.
