Nikki Presto scored a team-high 20 points Wednesday night in The Rock's 72-67 loss to visiting East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" game in Morrow Field House.
Presto was one of four Rock players who scored 10 or more points in the game. Chere' Marshall, Amanda Nero and Dana Stewart each chipped in 10 points.
Amanda Chojnacki led The Rock in rebounding with six and added seven points, while Nijha McNeely had five rebounds.
Wednesday's loss dropped The Rock's season record to 3-6 as it heads into the holiday break.
SRU's next game is Jan. 2 at Fairmont State (W. Va.). That is the first of three straight road games The Rock will play before returning home for a Jan. 10 date with Lock Haven to tipoff the PSAC-Western Division schedule.
East Stroudsburg, which tasted defeat for the first time on Tuesday at Edinboro, improved its record to 7-1.
