The Rock's bid for a second successive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship ended 14-plus minutes into a second overtime period of Friday afternoon's semifinal round as hosting Indiana U. of Pa. won a 2-1 decision.
The Indians (14-5) will now meet second-ranked West Chester (19-0) in the conference finals Sunday in Indiana.
West Chester beat Kutztown, 4-2, in the other semifinal Friday.
SRU, which has a 12-6-1 record, must now await its fate on Monday when the NCAA regional tournament berths are handed out.
Indiana took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute of action in Friday's game before Danielle Cooper converted an assist from Jaimi Wilson into a game-tying goal in the 55th minute.
The hosts outshot The Rock by a 22-14 margin, but SRU goalie Lauren McManus rejected 12 of 14 shots on goal by the Indians.
Each team had nine corner kicks, Indiana was whistled for more offsides violations (5-4) and The Rock was on the bad end of a 19-13 fouls comparison.
