East Stroudsburg, Pa. - The Rock's bid for a second successive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship was dashed by a 2-0 loss to top-seeded East Stroudsburg in a Wednesday afternoon playoff semifinal contest.

The loss gives SRU an 11-8-1 final record.

East Stroudsburg (16-1-3) scored what proved to be the game-winnng goal on a penalty kick in the 20th minute and added an insurance goal off a header following a corner kick in the 51st minute.

East Stroudsburg outshot The Rock by a 21-9 margin, including a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Rock goalie Brandon McQuillen was credited with five saves.
