Final Stats

Edinboro, Pa. - The Rock women's soccer team battled hosting Edinboro to a 0-0 tie in two overtime periods Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.

The scoreless tie was the second of the season for The Rock, which had earlier battled defending PSAC champion Indiana U. of Pa. to a stalemate.

The Rock outshot Edinboro by a 23-15 margin on Saturday.

SRU goalie Jen McCormick was credited with 10 saves in the process of recording her third shutout of the season.

SRU will put its 2-2-2 overall and 1-0-2 PSAC-West marks on the line Wednesday when they travel to California U. of Pa.

The Rock will then host Millersville in a PSAC "crossover" game on Saturday, Sept. 24.
