Hilton Head Island, S.C. - The Rock overcame a 2-1 deficit after doubles matches to secure a 6-3 victory over Greensboro College Monday.

The win was The Rock' second in as many days and improved its record to 2-4 on the season.

After The Rock lost the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches, Jennifer Hutchinson and Heather Webb won their match, 8-4, to narrow the deficit to 2-1 before heading into singles play.

Ashley Michaux (6-1, 6-4), Ashley Greene (6-3, 6-0) and Kate Ingram (6-1, 6-2) won the first three respective matches to give SRU a 4-2 advantage.

Erika McKenna clinched the victory with a 6-7, 8-6, 7-5 win.

Heather Webb won the No. 6 singles match, 6-3, 6-4.

The Rock will take on Kutztown for a 6 p.m. match Tuesday.
