The Rock finished its annual spring trip with a 9-4 record thanks to a complete-game shutout pitching effort by Brittany Hahn, which led SRU to a 5-0 win over Barton (N.C.) Saturday evening.
Hahn surrendered just four hits and one walk, while striking out four to improve her personal record to 5-0 and The Rock's mark to 9-4.
Stacey Rhoades went 3-for-4 with a run scored and 2 RBIs and Kate Krochmal had three hits for the second consecutive game, going 3-for-4 with a run scored.
Laura Campbell gave Hahn a cushion in the top of the first with her two-out, two-run triple. She finished with two hits in four at-bats with 2 RBIs.
Rhoades keyed SRU's two-run fourth with a two-out, two-run double, which scored Andrea Murdock (1-for-2, two runs scored) and Krochmal.
Hahn tacked on a fifth run and helped her own cause with a sacrifice fly in The Rock's half of the seventh.
The Rock pounded out 13 hits in the game.
SRU will travel home before it heads to Washington D.C. for a 1 p.m. game against Howard Friday and a 7 p.m. contest versus Columbia Union Saturday.
