Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - Led by freshman Mallory Neubert's two goals, The Rock women's soccer team defeated PSAC-West rival Clarion 3-1 on Saturday.

Sarah Mangiarelli scored The Rock's other goal off of an assist by Danielle Cooper. Christine Haug and Meghan McGrath also posted assists in the game.

Goalkeeper Jen McCormick recorded seven saves in the net for The Rock.

The win improves The Rock to 8-4-2 overall and 5-1-2 in PSAC-West action. With the win, The Rock maintains sole possession of second place in the PSAC-West rankings.

The Rock returns to action Monday when it hosts West Chester in a PSAC "crossover" game. Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
