Erin Frankovich scored a team-high 10 points in The Rock's 63-55 loss Tuesday night at Bloomsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action.
The loss was the sixth straight for The Rock (4-7), which will host Cheyney and Millersville in back-to-back "crossover" games Saturday and Sunday in Morrow Field House.
Game time for both games this weekend is 1 p.m.
The Rock's effort Tuesday night was hampered by the absence of leading scorer and rebounder Stacey Green, who was sidelined by an illness.
Green was ranked 10th in the PSAC in scoring (13.2 points per game) and eighth in rebounding (8.8 per game).
The Rock trailed by only two points (23-21) at halftime and stayed within striking distance throughout the final half, but was never able to take the lead in the final 20 minutes.
Dana Stewart added eight points for The Rock, while Kristen Bonner, Angela Greaser and Amanda Kaufman added seven points each.
Notes: Frankovich ranks second in the conference in field goal shooting percentage (.543) ... Amber McFeely ranks second in the PSAC in both assists (6.7 per game) and assist/turnover ratio (1.91) ...
