Wright scores goal, 2 assists in Rock's 3-1 win at California

California, Pa. - Senior midfielder Emma Wright scored The Rock's first goal and assisted on the final two Wednesday afternoon to lead the sixth-ranked Rock to a 3-1 win over hosting California U. of Pa. in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.

Wright's goal was an unassisted tally that answered an early California goal. She then assisted on a goal by freshman forward Sarah Mangiarelli that proved to be the game-winning goal and an insurance goal by senior All-America forward Sarah Arsenault.

The win improved The Rock's overall record to 8-0-1 and its conference mark to 4-0.

SRU is ranked first in the Northeast Region in this week's poll.
