Edinboro, Pa. - First-team All-America forward Sarah Arsenault scored her second goal of the game six minutes into the sudden-death overtime period to lift seventh-ranked Slippery Rock University to a 4-3 victory over hosting Edinboro in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon.

Arsenault's game-winning goal, her 11th of the season, came off an assist by senior midfielder Emma Wright and completed a miraculous comeback by The Rock (6-0-1 overall, 2-0 PSAC-W).

SRU trailed by a 3-0 margin with 20 minutes left in regulation time but erased the deficit in the span of seven minutes.

Second-team All-PSAC defender Cheryl Wickerham started the comeback with her first goal of the season, an unassisted tally.

Arsenault's first goal of the game trimmed the margin to one, 3-2, before second-team All-PSAC forward Lauren Steele forced overtime with her third goal of the season, an unassisted score.

Freshman goalie Karrine Riggins recorded eight saves for The Rock.

The Rock gets a short reprieve before it will host PSAC-West rival Lock Haven at 1 p.m. Saturday in a rematch of the 2003 PSAC championship game on James W. Egli Field.
