Slippery Rock, Pa. - The Rock earned its first win of the season over Shepherd, 30-27, Saturday afternoon. Ryan Daniel's game-winning, 38-yard field goal sealed the win for the Rock. The win improves The Rock's record to 1-2.

Josh Kniess led the way for the Rock offensively, scoring three touchdowns. He also carried the ball 32 times for 139 yards.

The Rock return home for their next game Saturday, Sept. 18 at 6:00 p.m.
