Slippery Rock, Pa. - Defending NCAA Division II national champion Bloomsburg (2-0) handed The Rock a 10-0 setback in SRU's season-opening, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game Wednesday afternoon on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium. The Huskies held a 4-0 lead at halftime and added six second-half goals. Bloomsburg outshot The Rock by a 43-3 margin. Rock sophomore goalie Tara Bailey was credited with 15 saves. The Rock returns to action on Saturday when it travels to PSAC rival Millersville for a noon game.
