Ricky Porter

Ricky Porter (1983) was a two-time All-America selection and team MVP in football at The Rock. He led NCAA Division II in rushing in 1981 and became the first Rock player to be drafted into the National Football League. He played for five NFL teams and was selected by ESPN as the Amateur Athlete of the Week following a game against Edinboro in 1981. He spent the 1990 and 1991 seasons as an assistant coach at The Rock before beginning a career as an NFL assistant coach and administrator.
