Junior forward Stacey Green recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds and junior center Erin Frankovich added 22 points and nine reboundssophomore shooting guard Kristen Bonner also pumped in 22 points to lead The Rock to a come-from-behind, 65-59 win over visiting Edinboro in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action in Morrow Field House.
Green sank a pair of free throws with 56 seconds left to play to give The Rock a 60-59 edge -- its first lead of the game. She added four free throws in as many attempts in the final 23 seconds to ice the win.
The win evened The Rock's overall record at 11-11 and its PSAC-West mark at 4-4, but more importantly moved SRU into a tie with Edinboro for third place in the division.
The top four teams in each division advance to the conference playoffs.
Sophomore shooting guard Kristen Bonner chipped in 10 points for The Rock, while sophomore point guard Amber McFeely had six points and eight assists.
The Rock trailed by nine, 33-24, at halftime and saw the deficit expand to 13 (37-24) one minute into the final half before starting its comeback.
SRU will host regionally ranked Pitt-Johnstown in a 3 p.m. non-conference game on Saturday in Morrow Field House.
