Rock loses to Indiana, Pa. 34-13

Slippery Rock, Pa. - Indiana University of Pennsylvania defeated The Rock 34-13 on Bob DiSpirito Field and N. Kerr Thompson Stadium Saturday night.

The loss is the Rock's second in a row and drops its overall record to 3-4 and 1-2 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division play.

The Rock was outgained by 506-218 margin.

Nate Crookshank completed 13 of his 27 passes for 143 yards, including a two-yard touchdown pass to Valdez Hails.

Running back Josh Kneiss gained 59 yards on 21 carries.

Linebacker Greg Baker had a team-high 11 tackles to lead the Rock defensive effort. The Rock defeat comes on the heals of a 34-31 loss at California, Pa. a week ago.

SRU will attempt to get back in the win column when it travels to Millersville Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.
