Slippery Rock, Pa. - Jillian Ternosky scored a pair of goals Sunday afternoon to lead visiting East Stroudsburg University to a 4-0 win over Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's field hockey action.

The win improved ESU's overall record to 8-5 and upped the Warriors' PSAC mark to 6-5.

The Rock fell to 1-12 overall, 1-10 in PSAC action.

Steph Hippman and Jackie Hanebury scored one goal each for ESU, while Ashley Kocis and Kacy Parry were credited with an assist each.

Rock goalie Tara Bailey recorded 12 saves in 72 minutes of action. Three ESU netminders combined to turn away two SRU shots on goal; The Rock was outshot by a 19-2 margin.

SRU travels to Kutztown for a PSAC game on Wednesday.
