Malcolm Richardson led Slippery Rock to an 64-54 upset victory at Merchurst University with 25 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Richardson achieved his game-high point total thanks in part to a 4-for-7 effort from 3-point range and a 7-for-8 mark from the free throw line. Richardson came alive when it mattered most with 19 points in the second half.
