Slippery Rock University Athletics

Cornelius Brown led Slippery Rock to a 1-1 record last week with a win over Pitt-Johsntown and a loss at Gannon. For the week, Brown averaged 18 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block per game. He went for a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds in The Rock’s overtime win against Pitt-Johnstown before producing a 17-point, five-rebound effort at Gannon. For the week, Brown shot an impressive 62.9 percent (17-for-27) from the field.
