Slippery Rock University junior guard Lexi Carpenter continued her dominant start to the 2015-16 season last week by recording per game averages of 18.0 points, 6.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 0.6 blocks in three Rock games, two of which were SRU wins.
Following a 22-point, seven-assist effort in SRU’s loss at Edinboro, Carpenter guided The Rock to victories over Mansfield and Lock Haven. Against Mansfield she went for 17 points, nine assists, five rebounds and two steals before concluding her week with 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks vs. Lock Haven.
