Slippery Rock University junior forward Matt Sangermano scored three goals and assisted on another to lead The Rock to a 7-0 victory against Pitt-Johnstown. The victory clinched a first round home game in this week’s PSAC Tournament for The Rock. Sangermano scored The Rock’s first two goals in the opening half before eventually earning the hat trick early in the second half. In addition to his impressive goal and assist output, Sangermano also placed a Rock season-high seven shots on goal. His seven-point afternoon vaulted him to first for SRU on the year in goals (eight) and points (18).
