Slippery Rock University sophomore outside hitter Leah Jones led SRU to a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Pfeiffer Tournament. Jones totaled a PSAC-high 52 kills as well has serving up 10 aces, the second most in the conference behind teammate Lamija Alisic’s league-high 12. She started the week with back-to-back double-doubles in wins over UVa.-Wise and Salem International. Against UVa.-Wise Jones totaled 16 kills and 13 digs before going for 12 kills, 12 digs and three aces against Salem International. Jones concluded the weekend by serving up three aces against Johnson C. Smith and driving home 18 kills against Pfeiffer.
