Freshman Jeremy Parsons jumped out to an early lead and never looked back at the SRU 125th Anniversary Invitational at Cooper's Lake Campground last week. Parsons led for the duration of the race, holding off the field and running out front by himself for nearly the entire 8,000-meters to win the race in 26:08.
