Christiansen broke a Slippery Rock record that had stood since 1997 with her winning performance in the hammer throw at the Dave Labor Invitational. She became the first SRU woman to throw beyond 50 meters with a toss of 51.07 meters, which is the best in the PSAC this season and ranks 20th among all NCAA Division II athletes.
