Toms hit the NCAA provisional qualifying mark with a toss of 16.36 meters in the shot put to win the event at the SRU Invitational. That mark is the best in the PSAC this season by more than two feet and ranks as the 15th best in Division II. Toms also threw season-bests to qualify for the PSAC meet in the discus and hammer.
