General Information
Facilities:
The Slippery Rock University camps are conducted on campus, which is located on 620 acres in the countryside of western Pennsylvania, just 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. SRU has an excellent 400m all-weather track with all-weather jumps runways and multiple cement throwing circles and cages. In addition, SRU has a full indoor 200m rubberized track. SRU is also home to one of the finest cross country courses in western Pennsylvania and offers acres of running trails.
Medical Care:
Excellent medical care will be provided by SRU and campers will have access to the same high-quality training coverage provided to SRU’s own student athletes. A signed Parental and Medical Form must be completed and submitted with the application. Campers with specific medical problems must notify the camp director and all doctor prescribed medications must be registered with the camp coordinator.
