THURSDAY NIGHT 7:00PM JULY 30, 2009

THE RACE:  This is the one and only 6th annual "Cross Country Relays" which will start at the Slippery Rock University Track Stadium Thursday Evening July 30th at 7:00pm.  Each Cross Country Relay Team consists of two runners.  The first runner runs the first 2500m of the course, and the second runner runs the second 2500m of the course.  There will be a 50m exchange zone and the runners will hand off a small cloth that will be provided on race day.  Runners may also run the entire 5000m course and compete as an individual.  This is an excellent spectator course.  The track stadium is located on the Slippery Rock University campus. 

-There will be one race that will include both the relay teams and the individuals.
