EDINBORO, Pa.
– The Slippery Rock University women’s cross country team finished third at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Edinboro University.

The Rock tallied a team score of 106 points to finish behind Shippensburg with 77 points and Bloomsburg with 95 points.

Slippery Rock placed three runners in the top-20 to earn All-Conference honors, led by Jen Harpp, who finished fourth overall. Harpp covered the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:14.

Joining Harpp in earning All-League honors was Crystal Burnick and Abby Michaelian. Burnick placed 12th with a time of 23:34 and was followed by Michaelian in 20th in 23:46.

Rebecca Younger placed 33rd in 24:21 and Jennifer Pace finished 37th in 24:27 to round out the scorers for The Rock.

Slippery Rock will travel to Mansfield for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships next Saturday, Nov. 7.
