California, Pa.—The Slippery Rock University volleyball team lost a three-set match to California (Pa.) on Friday night and suffered the same score in a loss at Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday. The Rock falls to 7-23 this season and 3-14 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. 

The Vulcans, now 26-5 overall and 16-0 in the PSAC, won the match by scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-15. 

Sophomore Kaylee Smith led The Rock with seven kills.  Junior Anna Bixler led the team in assists with eight, and senior Stacey Domer added a team-high 12 digs.

The Crimson Hawks, now 17-14 overall and 9-8 in the PSAC, won the match by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Kaylee Smith and junior Keira Peoples both recorded 10 kills in the match.  Alexa Erossy added eight kills in the match.  Juniors Kim Wilson and Anna Bixler combined for 32 assists, with Bixler adding 11 digs.  Stacey Domer  led all players with 21 digs and two aces.

The Rock returns to action Friday night against Gannon at Morrow Field House. The match is set to start at 7 pm.
