Jeanne Arbuckle (1979) was a four-year member of the volleyball team, and played three seasons of softball. She also threw javelin for one season and qualified, as a freshman, for the national track and field championships.
As a senior, Arbuckle was team captain in both volleyball and softball.
Arbuckle then went on to serve as the Associate Athletics Director and Head Softball Coach at Marietta College, where she has been for over 25 years. During her time as head coach of the Pioneers softball team, she has collected over 520 wins, and holds a win percentage above .500. She is just the third coach in OAC softball history to reach 500 wins. Arbuckle also served as the chairperson of the Physical Education department at Marietta.
