Elaine Jewart (1966) was an outstanding gymnast at The Rock from 1963-65. She was the Rock’s top all-around performer in a time when individual and team scores were not recorded. Jewart’s performances were a large factor in the success of SRU gymnastics.

Jewart became one of the founding members of the Pennsylvania Women’s Gymnastics Coaches Association. Jewart also started her own company, Jewart Gymnastics, which teaches children gymnastics as well as dancing, judo, fitness, and many other activities. She is also apart of the Alumni/Advisory Committee at SRU.
