Darlene Bullock (1983) played four seasons of softball and one season of basketball at Slippery Rock.
Bullock was the captain of the softball team as a senior, leading her team to a 15-3 record. During that season, she recorded a .283 batting average, 20 runs (first on the team), and 10 RBI (second on the team). Bullock also earned Academic All-America honors in her senior season.
She was selected in 1998 as the PSAHPERD’s Physical Education “Teacher of the Year” honoree. In 2001, one day prior to being inducted into the SRU Athletic Hall of Fame, she was the recipient of the National Intramural Council Outstanding Service Award.
